Despite Bronte and Ramon having discussed and decided together they would tie the knot, Ramon’s proposal to Bronte was quite the surprise and of what fairytales are made of.

A horse ride on a beach, rose petals scattered on the sand leading the way to the ring, champers, strawberries and 150 candles lighting up a dark and moody day were all there to help make the most thrilling and romantic beginning to the couple’s marriage journey.

After 11 months and what the bride says was the perfect amount of time for their engagement (“not too short that it was stressful but not too long that it felt like it was dragging out!”), the pair relied on their power team of vendors to create a wedding day and lead up that was pretty much stress-free.

The staff at Anna Campbell epitomised awesome vendor support. “The ladies were so helpful, they made me feel special, they celebrated the wins with me and it was such a great experience!,” enthuses Bronte, as she continues to tell us how Anna Campbell dresses are perfect for petite figures like hers, making her feel beautiful and curvy in all the right places.

Photographer Daniel Milligan with his vintage-tinged lens captured the couple’s well-attended day in all its bright December heat and olive grove glory.

Also a motif in their Etsy-sourced wedding stationery, “the olive leaf theme came through when we decided to hold our ceremony in the olive grove at Mt Duneed Estate.”

Bronte candidly reflects on how the pair pulled the look and feel of the day together. “I hate it when girls say it’s all about the bride and it’s all about them. It’s not. It’s about the two of you, coming together and becoming a unit. So I wanted the day to reflect both of us. Ramon loves the industrial look, so I wanted that for him. I love soft pinks, so that came through in the bridesmaids.”

When asked if there was anything they’d change if they had their time again, the bride confidently exclaims, “We didn’t regret a thing!” A sure-fire sign of wedding success, if you ask us.
