With a mutual love of nature and warm beverages on winter days, Amy and Jeff knew their wedding would incorporate those lovely moments from their first dates together, “we wanted our wedding to reflect thatwith a warm, romantic vibe.”
After searching high and low for the perfect wedding venue, it was only a few months out from their big day when they discovered the hidden gem that is Mount Keira Scout Camp.“It was our dream venue and we didn’t even visit it in person until a month before our weddingbecause we just knew it was the one,” and boy was it, the stunning photography from Lauren Campbell has us imagining Tinker-Bell will pop round one of those ancient rainforest trees!
“We wanted an intimate day, with just our high-school best friends and immediate family. We also wanted a day that celebrated winter, when we fell in love,” says the bride, who wore an absolutely stunning Needle & Thread gown. “When I saw the dress, I fell in love. It looked like something out of a fairy tale,” and with the location to match – we couldn’t agree more!
Jeff tells us of the moments that stuck out for him during their day, and to be honest, there’s not a dry eye in the office. “My favourite moment was watching her walk down the aisle. I’d looked forward to it our entire engagement, and it was breathtaking. Later in the evening, Amy and I snuck away from the reception and our guests to enjoy some time alone and watch the sunsetthis is my favourite memory when I think back to the day.”
