When an interior designer and a carpenter decide to get hitched, the possibilities are endless – just ask Amanda and Paul, who used their vast connections to create a crew of all-star vendors including celebrant Paul Voge.
“We were so incredibly lucky in all areas of our wedding. We had the best in their field that’s for sure. We are both so grateful to them all,” says Amanda, who, once upon a time was a student of photographer Bonnie Jenkins (back when she was a teacher).
“I became familiar with her work many years before our wedding. It was such an honour to have such an incredible visual artist shoot our epic day. Bonnie even shot us at some of her favourite secret spots. It was so much fun, we were very spoilt!”
While these seasoned travellers almost opted for a destination wedding, Tipi Luxe changed everything making a close-to-home celebration the go! The only thing that wasn’t close to home, in a literal sense, was the bridal boutique where Amanda found her dream gown.
“We had a little adventure to Brisbane from the Sunshine Coast each time I had a fitting. It was so much fun and such a special time with my mum and sisters Tanya and Lisa,” explains Amanda, whose simple yet elegant Bo & Luca gown was undeniably ‘the one’ – well aside from Paul, of course.
