Sapphire Beach is a magical little corner of the world* and a great place to tie the knot with its long secluded beaches and dramatic wind swept coastline. Gemma and Trent recently exchanged vows at the Beachstone Cafe which Gemma tells us was the perfect location “we wanted somewhere we could have the ceremony and reception at the same venue. We also wanted a laid back beachy theme, which it had!”
Having found the perfect location and locked in mid north coast favourite David Moore Photography to take their wedding photos all that was left to do was the tiny insignificant detail of finding a dress! Gemma says “My mother, myself and aunty flew to Sydney, we had a few appointments booked, with only two days there. On the last day I had not even found a dress but still had a appointment booked at David Jones!” Holding her cool Gemma continues “I tried on a few and fell in love with a Karen Willis Holmes gown but decided I wanted to get the back cut out, I always wanted a different style of wedding dress and loved a low back.” Clearly it’s a risk that paid off! Gemma looked stunning in her floor length “Caitlyn” gown from the The KWH Collection.
Usually about now we’d share some details of the reception but all we want to do is talk about that dress and photographer David captured so many stunning images we’ll wrap it up here and let you enjoy the rest of these delightful photos in peace.
*I may be slightly biased as this is my hometown after all!
