Welcome to our industrial-luxe fantasy come to life. Event styling legends Pia & Jade never fail to deliver inspo when we need it most and this chic shoot brimming with texture is no exception. You’ll find oodles of linen, both dried and fresh blooms and plenty of mood, all captured by photographer Lauren Sutton. On her inspiration behind the shoot, Dany of Pia & Jade shares, “Mt Stromlo Observatory has always been a favourite location of ours, especially at sunset. The burnt-out, rusted windows juxtaposed with the sorbet pink tones in the concrete are just pure magic. We wanted to create something quite ethereal with simplistic, en-masse florals and textured styling elements for a super romantic yet modern look.”
As for the fierce bridal looks, you’ve got Canberra-based concept store Mrs Fray to thank. On their choice of pieces, they note, “We opted for sharp, chic and strong lines in gowns by Mariam Seddiq paired with a luxurious pearl veil by Prea James Bridal. Always one’s for the unexpected, we also featured the fluid and understated BB05 gown from London based Bon Bridé.” Finished off with relaxed locks by Kate Lily Dressing Hair and we’re obsessed.
