We speak a lot about community in our current issue. We are all kinds of lucky to have an amazing group of talented creatives, from around the country, contribute to our blog, directory and magazine year in and year out, and this is especially true for our ‘Pedal to the Metal’ fashion editorial that features in issue five, which is on sale now.

Not only were we lucky enough to have the lovely Lara Hotz shoot for us and the always delightful Liv Lundelius on hair and makeup, but the ever-so-talented Bree from Light Noise Films came along for the ride and shot a boat load of behind the scenes footage that has been skilfully edited into the one minute and forty-two seconds of awesomeness you see before you.

Light Noise Films, owned and operated by Bree and her partner Brooke, are hugely popular with creative couples on their day of days thanks to their ethos of “documenting, not directing” – something we can attest to here at the Hello May office – we barely noticed Bree sneaking up stairs and around corners as we had model Sarah from Chic Management sashay around in gowns from Steven Khalil, Jenny Peckham, The Babushka Ballerina, Rachel Gilbert, Savvy Brides, The Bridal Atelier and Suzanne Harward.

To see more of this stunning shoot, including 12 glorious pages of never before seen images and loads of bridal gown inspiration for those looking for something beyond the shade of white, be sure to pick up issue five of Hello May today!

You can search for your nearest stockist by state, suburb or postcode here. We are also stocked at Mag Nation, who have bricks and mortar stores in Melbourne, Sydney and New Zealand in addition to an online store where ordering is a breeze and shipping is speedy.
