Black Finch Jewellery is proud to introduce the Men’s Engagement Collection – a contemporary series of engagement rings and adornments designed to celebrate commitment beyond traditional conventions.

This collection reflects a shift in how we view engagement jewellery today: not defined by gender or tradition, but as a personal expression of love, identity, and intention. Designed by Creative Director Davina Adamson, the collection includes six engagement rings, a pendant necklace, and the brand’s first-ever brooch. Each piece reflects Black Finch’s signature cool, crafted in Melbourne using recycled precious metals, natural diamonds and ethically sourced gemstones, reflecting the brand’s commitment to responsible, modern craftsmanship.

A Contemporary Take on Men’s Engagement Jewellery

“As pioneers in contemporary, non-traditional engagement ring design, Black Finch has long challenged the idea that jewellery should be gendered, predictable, or polite. For a long time, we hesitated to publicly label anything as a ‘men’s’ engagement ring; not because they didn’t belong, but because love, commitment, and adornment should never be confined by categories,” says Davina. “This new collection marks a shift, because sometimes you just need to see it, try it, to know you simply just need it. Because men are engaged too!”

The Men’s Engagement Collection brings visibility to men’s engagement jewellery in a sculptural, considered, and emotionally driven way. These are modern heirlooms for those seeking something meaningful, personal, and entirely their own. Because engagement is not limited, and neither is jewellery.

Design & Craftsmanship

Each piece reflects Black Finch’s signature approach: sculptural form, contemporary detail, and emotional storytelling through design.

Developed from late 2025 and completed in April 2026, the collection was refined to balance strength and softness, presence and restraint.

It includes eight pieces in total:

• 6 engagement rings
• 1 pendant necklace
• 1 brooch (a Black Finch first)

Each design is repeatable. When sold, stones will be carefully matched to preserve the original intent and integrity of each piece.

Materials & Ethical Sourcing

Crafted in Melbourne, every piece uses recycled precious metals, natural diamonds, and ethically sourced gemstones. Sustainability is embedded throughout the process, from sourcing through to final setting.

Signature Piece: The Dune Champagne Diamond Ring

The Dune Champagne Diamond Ring is the collection’s most valuable piece, defined by the rarity and quality of its natural diamond. Its price reflects both the stone and the craftsmanship required to design around it.
