After a conversation in which Nancy more or less admitted her love of food far surpassed her appreciation for diamonds, her partner Doug knew he’d met his match, and popped the question!
The pair agreed a short engagement was the go, with their initial idea to wed at the registry; that was of course until they discovered the stunning grounds of Bendooley Estate. “I was down in the Southern highlands for a weekend trip with a girlfriend and we happened to drop in for lunch at the book barn. As soon as I had finished my meal, I knew I’d be getting married there!”
Nancy mentioned once they had found the venue, finding her dress was the next thing on the list. “One day I was flicking through the vendors recommended by our venue and came across White Meadow Bridal. The entire process, from trying on all the beautiful handmade dresses to delivery was so easy. The dresses are handmade in Sydney and mine was comfortable enough eat like a horse and fall asleep in!” Always a bonus in our books!
There to capture the day was Sydney based photographer Anna Turner, whose epic work can been seen here and here too!
