Happy Friday, folks! Boy have we got some good news for you! One of our favourite new bridal brands, Alca Line Bride, has designed a second collection, MADAME, and it’s the bees knees. Now, you may have heard of Alca Line Bride from us before. We listed them in our recent roundup of the Top 20 Bridal Designers to Follow On Instagram and you will have also spotted one of their gowns in the fashion pages of our most recent issue (Issue 22, that is), that’s still on stands for another few weeks and also available in our online store.
But today, we are bringing you a post on the gorgeous label alone- their latest lookbook, shot by the oh-so-talented photographer, Jack Steel (Check out more of his work here). Shauna Crowley from The Future Mrs was on hair and makeup, and we think you might agree, this doubles as a pretty darn good beauty reference for brides with a bob, right? But back to those dresses…
There are 12 new pieces that stick to Alca Line Bride’s brand identity of unique and femme, but slightly edgy, while again working with incredible textures, intricate sheer fabrics and interesting silhouettes. The collection was inspired by the cool girls of the 1920s and 30s, with founder and designer, Amy adding, “the liberation of femininity, expression through fashion and celebration of the natural female form.” You’ve probably noticed, but our favourite is the skirt and top above (that you’ll also see layered over a dress below) and the shockingly-beautiful lilac gown. Yes friends, you read that correctly. Get scrolling, because it’s positively dreamy.
Sizes range from small to large, with custom options available to accomodate all shapes and sizes. Prices span from $800-$4500 and you can head into Alca Line Bride’s flagship boutique in Sydney’s South to try these on for yourself, or reach out via our directory here.
