From the get-go, Lisa and Will were set on having their wedding at a family farm so they’d have more freedom in what they could do. They didn’t realise, however, how much work it would be but tell us it was well worth their efforts!
Going for a country/native vibe, the day incorporated tonnes of beautiful blooms and an awesome (last minute) DIY caravan bar. “We wanted the wedding to be pretty casual and relaxing which is what we are like as a couple. People said the wedding just felt like us which is what we wanted,” the couple explains, ever-so grateful that the torrential downpours stopped just a half hour before their outdoor ceremony.
Despite a few minor hiccups (including Lisa’s veil nearly coming off while she was walking down the aisle), Lisa and Will tell us that the ceremony was definitely the most memorable part of the day. Thankfully, Lilli Waters of I Got You Baby Photography was there to capture it all on film. “Lilli’s photos were amazing and captured every moment perfectly, we can relive the day through her work. Lilli was great to work with allowing us to just be ourselves and have fun with it.”
Aside from the lovely Lilli, star vendors included Hanging Willow Paperie & Design, Blooms on Dean, and Food By Sarah King. “Sarah King’s food was amazing!! She let us use our home grown lamb in sharing platters which was a standout.”
