Perhaps the greatest description for this couple’s wedding came from their photographer Tilly Clifford. “Robbie married Jade on December 13th 2014, at a small intimate gathering at Ruby’s Mt Kembla on the New South Wales south coast. Their wedding was simple, yet absolutely stunning, and I just couldn’t take my eyes off Jade’s custom Pearl Button tea length bridal gown! Robbie and Jade were a dream to photograph, every image expresses their pure love for one another. Robbie and Jade you guys rock!”
The more we learn about Jade and Robbie’s day, the more we agree. “The best man’s Dad was our celebrant. It was nice to have someone we know so well conduct the ceremony. It made it more personal, and he was great during the lead up to the wedding”, says Jade who apart from a few DIY bits here and there, was successful in keeping the wedding planning process relatively simple.
“I did the reception stationery myself. My brother cut the wooden menu holders, which we then sanded back, and we made our own centrepieces with flowers bought from the Sydney Flower Market.” It was more than enough to create an inviting atmosphere where all their friends and family could share a nice meal together, which says Jade, is all they ever wanted.
