This cracker of a wedding was captured through the lens of our wonderful friends at It’s Beautiful Here, which is quite fitting seeing as it IS rather beautiful at Boyd Baker House, Elise and Ben’s ceremony and reception location
Elise tells us, “We aimed for a holiday weekend celebration- with half the family from Mackay and surrounds, and the other half from Melbourne, having somewhere to stay (preferably at the venue!) was key. Boyd Baker House, just outside of Melbourne, was perfect. The property has beds for 18 people, and they are happy to have people camp, and bring caravans, to sleep in the 40 acres surrounding the house. This also allowed us to hold the ceremony and reception in the one location, and we had 42 of our 80 guests stay at the house after the wedding!”
With a rainbow wedding theme (check out the flowers….and that cake!) tied in with the bride’s Justin Alexander dress and shoes (purchased in Singapore whilst under the slight influence of booze…..what a shopping experience that must have been?!), this bash was pretty…..well pretty! And, combine all this with a bunch of candy (including lolly watches and necklaces…..remember those?), what else can we say!
