After John delivered an elaborate surprise ‘James Bond’ themed proposal that included sea plans, speed boats, a private jetty, white rose pedals, a river side cottage, a degustation lunch and an overnight stay on the Hawkesburry River there was no way Caitlin was going anywhere.
Their wedding however, was a little less extravagant. Instead they wanted to create a timeless, vintage inspired day much like Caitlin’s dress made by Nelder Jones. Caitlin, a primary school teacher and John, a musician, held their wedding at the gorgeous Terrara House Estate – a historic, country wedding venue in costal New South Wales.
Being a musican, John made sure there was plenty of entertainment throughout the day, even ending his speech with a song he had written for Caitlin featuring his groomsman! A pretty proud moment after he’d also managed to pull off their choreographed first dance. It was a romantic, fun filled day created by a couple of crazy cats and captured by one of our all time favourite photographers ALMA. Who by the way, you can see much more of in Issue 5 of Hello May, on sale THIS Thursday June 5! Let the countdown begin!
