Knowing that Sarah and Matt are both chocaholics, we liked them from the start. And thought it was hilarious that Matt fed Sarah plenty of chocolate right before he proposed by way of an Easter egg hunt.
Then we saw these images by the very talented and very lovely Jessica Tremp from Brown Paper Parcel and could not wait to share them with you. After three years together Sarah and Matt chose to celebrate their nuptials at Euroa Butter Factory, now a boutique bed and breakfast in North-East Victoria. “The Butter Factory is such a beautiful venue we didn’t really need to do too much! So we kept everything nice and simple with the colours and the flowers to compliment the venue. The balloons added a fun and cute vibe to the day”, says Sarah.
Matt, a web developer designed a personal wedding website and together they made their save the date cards, swing tags, signs and wedding favours.
Before making a lifetime commitment to Matt, Sarah also tried to design her own wedding dress. An idea that soon turned sour. Fortunately the ladies from Anaessia were there to pick up the pieces. “I found a dressmaker on Etsy – we chatted backwards and forwards for a few months….she started making the dress, then it all went pear shaped! After months of to-ing and fro-ing, excuses and broken promises I was two weeks out from the wedding and still didn’t have a dress. After lots of stress, a few tears and a couple of sleepless nights I decided to call it quits with the Etsy dress and find an alternative…”
During her lunch break she went to and found an incredible dress. The team at Anaessia did such an amazing job! They literally saved me from having a meltdown an turning into a bridezilla from hell and I can’t thank them enough!”
