Some say it’s a blessing others think it’s a curse but we can’t help but wear out hearts on our sleeves. And right now our hearts are filled with nothing but love for photographer Paul Bamford for sending us these lovely images of Vivienne and Bart’s wedding. A storyteller, husband and musician, care and creativity run freely through his veins.

Admittedly their venue was a photographer’s dream, offering five acres of lush green forest and manicured lawns. Known as EcoStudio Fellini and nestled at the base of the heritage listed Springbrook National Park in Queensland, it was a place where Vivienne and Bart could easily create a relaxed, vintage-inspired day. “We wanted it to be vintage, a bit classic but still colourful and fun”, says Vivienne who chose to provide outdoor couches for people to plonk themselves on until it was time to hit the dance floor. “Our favourite moment would have to have been the first dance, and busting out some serious moves on the d-floor with all of our friends and family.”

Wearing a sweet, tea length lace gown from Kitty Bridal in China, she looked like a true lady with beautiful florals by Cara Clark Design – an interior designer specialising in high quality, vintage themed events and weddings. Beginning her Diploma in Floristry at just 16, her passion for aesthetics, colour and design has always come very naturally and is one of the reason she’s so damn good at what she does.

When asked about DIY decorations Vivienne tells us, “Bart’s last name is Mellish, so we created little jars of Mellish Relish for everyone as a gift. We also created a photo table with our parents and grandparent’s wedding photos on display.”

Beneath a canopy of glittering fair lights, it was a night we know these two lovebirds will happily reminisce about for many years to come.
