From the moment Tiffany and Sam got engaged it was game on. Both self confessed ‘sports people’ their wedding, held at Wandin Valley Estate in the Hunter Valley, was another well earned victory for this competitive pair. “For some reason I had always imagined getting married by an oval with a white picket fence. Wandin didn’t have the fence but it was so perfect otherwise. We’re both sporty people so thought it suited us well without being too corny or themed”, says Tiffany who wore a lovely white lace gown by Lover.
While their incredible focus and stamina proved beneficial at times (read: a whole heap of DIY) it was their vendors who they say, deserve most credit – Wild Lotus Florist for their epic floral arrangements, Written by Hand for their beautiful calligraphy, Lara Hotz Photography for their breathtaking images and last but not least Light Noise Films for capturing it all on film (which you can check out below!)
“We were umming and arrring on if we were going to bother with a videographer. Our photographer Lara Hotz recommended Bree and Light Noise to us so we looked them up and loved their style of videos so decided to go with them. Bree and Lara worked so well together and we were so happy with the outcome. They really managed to capture the day so well”, says Sam, adding that Anthony Hughes Entertainment was another top choice.
In terms of tradition there were few, which gave way to Tiffany and Sam inventing a few new ones. “We may have started a new family tradition the day after the wedding with a game of cricket between the Normand and Cashman families. For the record the Normands won by one run”, says Tiffany cheekily. Maybe marriage doesn’t mean having to be on the same side after all.
