With Tiff being the owner and founder of online fashion store Petal & Pup and hubby Julian the CEO, it’s no wonder this endlessly elegant duo managed to plan such a dang aesthetic wedding. There was no real theme for our day, but we wanted it to be quite relaxed and minimal (whites and neutral tones), elegant and modern,” they tell us – and, honestly, they got it spot-on.

Speaking of spot-on, let’s chat fashion, coz clearly these folks know a thing or two about looking fresh. Tiff (whose hair and makeup were immaculate thanks to the gals at The Future Mrs) went for an outfit change between ceremony and reception, Julian stuck with his classic M.J. Bale  suit for the whole event, and both looked heckin’ fab the entire time.

Hello May fave Janneke Storm joined the party to snap the stunning photos you’re about to look at. “The first vendor I actually ever chose was our photographer, Janneke Storm,” says the bride. “I had followed her work for a while and was so happy when she said she could do our wedding! She was so helpful in suggesting venues, dress designers, videographers, celebrants, etc which we are so grateful to her for!”

THE VENUEWe had some friends who had been guests at weddings at EarthHouse and they all said it was beautiful. We went and had a look and met with the owner, Munro, and fell in love straight away. The ceremony spot overlooked the hinterland and the purpose-built reception building was so beautiful, too. We loved that there was accommodation on site too for us girls to stay the night before and get ready in the morning.”

FAVE DETAILSIt would have to be the flowers. Mikarla and her team from Wilderness Flowers did such an amazing job. I knew that our bouquets were going to be white roses and orchids with green foliage but I never envisioned for them to turn out as beautiful and unique as they did. The hanging floral designs in the reception space were one of the standouts of the day, too. I hadn’t been down all morning to see everything being set up in the reception space, so it was such a nice surprise walking into the room for our entrance and seeing the space for the first time and all of our family and friends.”

THE DRESSMy ceremony dress was a minimal silk low-back dress from One Day Bridal [now Chosen by KYHA]. I had purchased a completely different dress prior to finding it (fully beaded, long sleeves, lace) that was twice the price. Definitely take your time trying on different styles and making sure you choose the one you know you will feel most comfortable and most yourself in on the day.”

WE’RE GLAD WE…We’re really glad we found the best photographer,  Janneke Storm, and videographer, Alex Ball, to capture the day for us. It is over in a blink of an eye and the memory is a bit vague after too many bubbles so it’s so nice to have amazing photos and videos to relive the day again for years to come.”

COOL CUSTOMI had a brooch that belonged to my Nanny, who has passed, on my bouquet and we used a pen belonging to my Grandad, who has passed, to sign the marriage certificate. My other set of grandparents who are still alive witnessed the certificate for us, which was really special.”

A WORD OF ADVICE “Spend the money on a wedding planner/stylist. It will save you so much time and effort having them look after all of the liaising with different suppliers to make the day come together perfectly.”

STANDOUT VENDORIt would have to be Amy from Events Co., who put everything together for us and made the day run so smoothly so we could just sit back and enjoy the day and night. She did way more on the day than I thought she would, too – packing up our bags in the guest room for us because we were rushing last minute to finish getting ready, putting our marriage paperwork and other significant items from the ceremony in our bags. I honestly don’t know what I would have done if I didn’t have her with us on the day! And of course, her perfect planning and styling of the day. Everything was more beautiful than we could have ever imagined thanks to her!”

Janneke Storm is a deadset genius behind the camera (and a total legend to boot), so we definitely recommend giving her a call to shoot your day. Click here to get in touch with the gal herself. Also over on our directory, you’ll find the fabulous M.J. Bale – masters of great suiting. Tiff and Julian’s wedding first appeared in our 2020 Real Wedding Special, which you can pick up over on our online store, you lucky duck!
