Six years ago, Joshua piggybacked Thomasina out of an Adelaide pub and the rest was history! Fast forward to the utterly glam nuptials and the duo promised each other a lifetime of fat Sundays, board games and endless love. A few of our faves were in attendance, making this peachy pink big day one to remember. The peeps over at Baker Boys Band provided tunes whilst Katie Harmsworth snapped up a storm. THE VENUE “The Botanic Gardens was our first pick. It was too hard for us to go past the restaurant’s amazing food, the beautiful garden setting and close accommodation options for our interstate guests. It ticked all the boxes for our wedding ceremony and reception.”

THE VIBE “The style of the wedding reflected the femininity of my dress with beautiful and organic arrangements made by Studio Botanic. Kiera kept it quite whimsical but also edgy and that’s where the marble, leather and gold came in. It was a perfect balance. We trusted Kiera and her staff to bring our dream to life!”

THE DRESS “I wore a custom Paolo Sebastian gown. Following the initial consultation, Paul designed my gown which included floral embellishments and a detachable skirt. Paul and his incredibly talented team made me feel very relaxed and comfortable during the entire process.”

LITTLE LOL “Our daughter cracked it just before I was about to walk down the aisle. The music had started and I didn’t want anyone to think anything was wrong so we just had to walk. I picked her up and carried her down the aisle while also trying to hold on to my mother and father. It was a little cramped walking down the aisle but at least it gave me something else to focus on other than being nervous!”

A WORD OF ADVICE “Hire a wedding planner! Actually, just hire Kiera!”

STANDOUT VENDORS “There were so many standout vendors but special mentioned should be made of Nadia Travaglini of Studio Botanic, Katie Harmsworth, Sarah Ferguson from Botanic Gardens Restaurant and Kate Sugars of Bluebelle Studio. These girls worked their butts off in the lead up to the wedding, on the wedding day and following the wedding. However, the day wouldn’t have been what it was without Kiera Blanden of Kiera Blanden Events and Styling and her staff. Kiera and her staff went above and beyond on many occasions during the planning and coordination of our wedding. Kiera’s keen eye for detail, extensive list of suppliers and personal commitment ensured the day ran smoothly. It was a dream come true. “
