We’re bonkers for a bride in a jumpsuit and Thao nailed her untraditional look in a Winona Australia onsie. “The best part was that it costed $250… Everyone loved it because not only did it look great it was perfectly me in a nutshell.” Clearly not one to follow the rulebook, she decided she didn’t want a traditional wedding either.
Having recently opened up their own cafe Don’t Tell Charles (Thao is a pastry chef and Rob a barista) they decided to keep things low key, enjoying an intimate ceremony at Lakehouse Daylesford in Victoria before celebrating two days later at a local bar with 100 of their closest friends and family.
“Robbie and I aren’t into conventions”, says Thao who knew Dee of Ceremonially Yours would be the ideal celebrant with her larger than life personality. “Every single vendor that we chose went above and beyond for us”, says Thao referring as well to their incredible photographer Alli Oughtred who clearly captured the essence of their day perfectly.
