We knew Tasha would be an awesome bride when she declared she just wanted “an excuse to have sparkly things!” Held at Carriageworks in Sydney, the couple wanted to create some contrast to their industrial setting with some Gatsby-inspired elegance. The result was undeniably gorgeous and, thankfully, it was all beautifully captured by Michelle Fiona Photography.
Sporting a Mariana Hardwick gown, Tasha walked down the aisle to Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zero’s ‘Home’ (nominated for World’s Best Song) with Youil choosing to meet her half way as a symbol of their decision to spend their lives together.
They agreed the whole thing was incredibly magical. “We had a rather unorthodox ceremony that we had spent a lot of time curating in the lead up to the wedding, to reflect our relationship and promises to each other and injecting a good dose of humour amongst the lots of love.”
With a group of superstar vendors behind them, including Ashdown & Bee, Sweet Art, and Chair Hire Co, it was obvious that Tash and Youil’s nuptials would be flawless. “We had the most incredible team that helped make our day so unique and special.”
