For any couple, travelling together can either make or break a relationship. Fortunately for Sarah and Chris, spending four months crossing Australia in a campervan confirmed that they were meant to be together forever.
This lovely couple hired Tillee Music to entertain their special guests on their day of good times. And what a good decision that was. Tillee Music has been with us here at Hello May since the very beginning and remain one of our most recommended live music duos. A favourite on the east coast wedding circuit, their entire repertoire includes over 100 songs, from track titles by John Mayer to The Beatles and Bob Marley. But don’t just take our word for it. See for yourselves how talented these two are by watching this video covering Ho Hey by The Lumineers or by visiting them on our online directory.
Knowing their friends and family were guaranteed a good time, the rest was easy. To capture their day Sarah and Chris chose the one and only James Frost, who is the master of the candid image. Of their venue Sarah says, “we moved back to Wollongong a few months out from the wedding and when we finally visited Mali Brae Farm in person we could not have been happier, it was a spectacular venue!” With beautiful arch windows, French Provincial oak tables and an open brick fireplace, there wasn’t much that needed to be done to the old hay barn located in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales, except to add some flowers.
“Both my mum and I have floristry backgrounds – before leaving on our road trip I had my own floristry business so we made the garlands and arranged all the flowers in the jars on the tables the day before the wedding. This was one of my favourite memories from the wedding having both of our families (dads and all) playing with the flowers the day before making my vision for the venue come to life!” says Sarah who wore a stunning gown by Hobnob Bridal and crystal cuff by Samantha Wills.
