A day that was two years in the making, Rosa and Mike’s Sydney Harbour wedding was bound to impress. £We made sure we had enough time to plan the fun and relaxed day we wanted and enjoy each other’s company whilst doing so, says Rosa, who wanted her special day to reflect her relationship – personally and perfectly.
As an audio engineer and a graphic designer, we knew this wedding would be super creative. From bouquets to bunting, this crafty couple took on a tonne of DIY projects. £Pretty much anything we could get our hands on. I enjoy creating things and challenging myself with projects. With the help of Nykke Coleman of Paper Elephant Stationery, Rosa even designed her own stationery. How amazing is that?!
Photographed by Shane Shepherd Photography, this wedding took us back in time with a £romantic glamour theme. Inspired by a mutual love of music and all things vintage, Rosa and Mike rode up in style in a 1936 Stretch Cadillac, provided by The Cadillac Man, and encouraged guests to don their Sunday Best to dance the night away.
Rosa and Mike even took the time to learn some new moves for their big day – and had a great time doing so. £We’d asked Rosa’s Aunt and partner to teach us some basic steps a few months prior, (so we wouldn’t tread on each other’s toes) and had lots of fun practicing in our living room leading up to the day. And on the day, we danced and managed to not suck!
