There’s no place like the great outdoors, and that’s what inspired Lucy and Max to choose their venue- a beautiful family farm in Strathalbyn, SA. “We’ve had the farm for about 15 years and had always talking about having a large family gathering there. The farm is a place of relaxation and escapism for our family and we wanted to share that with our extended families and our friends. There is something so special about having it on our own land, with every detail representing us.” explains Lucy.

With the bride looking flawless in her Rue De Seine gown and the groom, handsome as ever, in his Oscar Hunt ensemble, they danced under the stars to Bag Raider’s Shooting Star’ – a truly epic moment. Thankfully, NabeelsCamera was there to capture it all.

Despite the nerves, the heaps of work and a very close run-in with a ring burglar (we’re being dramatic – it was just Lucy’s adorable little nephew who almost ran off with them), the day was undeniably memorable and Lucy and Max couldn’t have been happier to finally tie the knot.

“Marriage means love on tap,” says Lucy. “It means building a life together and putting in equal share to make it happen. It means fun and no longer living in sin! Haha! Marriage means we can say to hotels ‘Oh we’re on our honeymoon’ hoping we get upgraded! But it also means the search is over and that feels great!”
