Lindsay and Nick made that old “rain, rain go away” song redundant by hosting their ceremony outside despite a rather heavy downpour.
“We’re glad we stuck to our guns”, says Lindsay. “… it did rain at the time of the ceremony but all of our guests were prepared for the weather and it went ahead as planned regardless.”
Held at Bilpin Resort in the Blue Mountains, right near where Nick proposed, their day, captured by Dean Snushall Photography, was simply a culmination of things they love.
“We love good food, wine and decorating wildly with plants… We loved the idea of our reception room feeling a little like a dinner party at a local restaurant – decorated with menu chalkboards, posies of flowers and long family-style tables.”
Dressed in a beautiful long sleeved gown by Grace Loves Lace Lindsay looked as beautiful as the native bouquets and archway put together by Floral Ink. “…for both of us it was the decorative highlight of the day.”
