With the couple’s two doggos an integral part of Daniel’s beachside proposal, it was a no-brainer that the cheeky munchkins were going to be front and centre at their pawrent’s wedding. And what a wedding it was! Having opted for an intimate elopement, Lauren & Daniel enlisted the services of the fabulous Elope team to craft the day of their dreams. With a bunch of our fave vendors on board (hey Nina Claire Photography, Grace Loves Lace and Krystle Knight Jewellery), the resulting event was pretty phenomenal. Scroll down for the goods…
THE DRESS “My dress was purchased from Grace Loves Lace at the Burleigh store. The overall experience was amazing – the staff were so accommodating and helped me find the perfect dress. The Florence dress was not the one I had imagined I would choose as I originally wanted a long sleeve for a winter wedding, however, when I put the dress on I knew it was perfect. The dress was a two-piece and the lace detailing was so beautiful, I felt as though it was the perfect fit and flowed nicely/fitted with the vibe of the wedding we wanted. It didn’t take me long to find the dress, it was the first place I visited and I purchased my dress that day.”
FAVOURITE MOMENT “We were both quite emotional on the day as we were unable to have family witness due to COVID restrictions and them living interstate. However, I think having our four guests gave us the opportunity to spend every moment and experience all of the emotions surrounding the commitment of marriage with each other.”
LITTLE LOL “Ollie (the dog) falling asleep throughout the ceremony – he didn’t want to get up and give the rings over and had dribbled everywhere.”
A WORD OF ADVICE “I think the best piece of advice is to have the wedding you want and not be influenced by others. A wedding planner also made our day so stress-free and took all the stress/hype of planning away.”
STANDOUT VENDORS “A stand out for us was Emily from Elope. She coordinated, styled and planned everything to perfection from start to finish. There were times where the progress of our wedding was unknown during COVID or whether we would even be able to have a wedding. Emily was able to pull things together last minute, she was so supportive, reassuring, and she gave us honest opinions with regards to styling, selecting vendors and [she also] handled all the correspondence. She honestly went above and beyond to make our day so special. We had to cancel our videographer due to COVID restrictions on numbers at weddings and she ended up videoing the ceremony for us and our family to see! 10/10 for Elope!”
