One thing that made this wedding so incredible was the venue. Held at Peregrines at Table Top Mountain, one of Albury Wodonga’s most unique wedding locations, Sydney-based photographer Scott Surplice says “as a photographer it was a real pleasure to shoot. Everywhere I looked there was pockets of gold and Tabletop mountain is an amazing setting.”
In addition to choosing an awesome venue, Jo and Pete also took on some epic DIY projects, doing everything themselves including the placemats, table runners, bunting, cake, invitations and wedding favours. The result? An explosion of pretty colours that contrasted nicely with their delicate bouquets by Flowers Of Distinction.
Wearing a vintage-inspired Anna Campbell gown, Jo tells us, “I’m usually wearing something vintage, so a vintage wedding was inevitable. I wanted a 60’s element so a beehive for myself, shift dress for my sister and mod suits were a great way of incorporating the decade which inspires me most.”
Beyond the craft-room however, their marriage is about giving 100%. “I think the ket is finding someone you actually want to give your 100% to”, says Jo. “I know it’s so cliche, but we really are best friends and feel comfortable to talk about anything.”
