On the grounds of Lowe Family Winery, the purple wisteria was in bloom as guests gathered to witness the couple’s lakeside ceremony before mingling on the lush vineyard lawns and celebrating the night away. A swoon-worthy spring soiree, we’re sure you’ll agree, perfectly captured by photographer Taylor Kezia.

THE VENUE “A few years ago, we visited the beautiful Mudgee for a wine trip and spent an unforgettable afternoon at Lowe Winery. We enjoyed a leisurely lunch at The Zin House, exploring the lovely grounds between courses with a glass of wine in hand, followed by a wine tasting at the Cellar. When it came time to choose a venue, Mudgee was our first choice!”
FAVE DETAILS “[For our invitations,] we worked with Alexandra (One Mimosa Please) to hone in on a style that most suited us as a couple but also represented the theme we had in mind for the day. We were blown away by the amazing florals created by The Make Haus team. For the ceremony, we wanted to bring to life the surrounding Australian landscape and opted for simple, ground arbours with bright florals. Our bonbonnières were a box of delicious macarons, by the sweet Rachel of Les Soeurs Macarons. Our wedding cake was created by the magnificent Gigi of By Gigicakes, again simple with a textured floral motif, taking inspiration from the floral appliqué on my wedding dress. Lastly, the cocktail hour lounge and styling, framed by the cute scallop-trimmed umbrellas, was the exact coastal, relaxed and comfortable vibe we wanted to achieve for golden hour.”
REFERENCES “We researched our vendors on many platforms, including Instagram and following some of the wedding directory accounts, including Hello May (of course!), and countless other wedding planner accounts.”
MEMORABLE MOMENT “Walking down the aisle would have to be one of the most memorable moments from the day! Arriving at the venue and seeing our closest family and friends already gathered, the gorgeous florals and hearing our amazing acoustic band, Sexy Sunday Jam, start playing my aisle song was truly special. And seeing Steven at the end of the aisle was a realisation that this day was finally here!”
STANDOUT VENDORS “Our photographer, the amazing Taylor Kezia – we love her photography style, and Taylor herself is so lovely and easy to work with. I was constantly keeping her in the loop in the lead-up to the day and asking for her opinions on little details, and she was more than happy to assist! She did an amazing job capturing so many candid moments. She also worked so seamlessly with our videographer, Angus of Sommar Films, who made us feel so at ease in front of the camera, and he captured the essence of the day and night beautifully.”
