GEORGIA & SAM’S COUNTRY NSW WEDDING

Sam and Georgia’s day was off-the-scales-chic. Paying homage to their roots, these two country kids got hitched in Tamworth, New South Wales, in a “modern, classy, romantic” celebration infused with rural charm.

In a meant-to-be moment of serendipity, the couple stumbled upon their dream venue while on travelling home from the holiday where Sam popped the question. “It was the first and only venue we looked at. We were driving past and thought we’d stop in for lunch. It’s safe to say we instantly fell in love.”

We are obsessed with Georgia’s effortlessly gorgeous look and luxe wedding locks (we see you, Grace Roby Hair!) Of course, we can’t forget the guys. Sam and his groomsman scrubbed up more than alright in M.J. Bale. The dance floor was a highlight thanks to The White Tree band’s beats, and lens lady Leah Cruikshank got the whole snazzy shindig on camera. We can’t wait to share this one with you, friends. MEMORABLE MOMENT “The dance floor was one of our favourite moments from the day [courtesy of The White Tree]. It had such a good vibe, and it felt nice to completely relax after all the formalities were complete. We honestly danced and sang the night away! Our speeches were also super special and funny. I don’t think we have laughed so hard in a long time.”

THE DRESS “My dress was from Prea James. I tried it on and purchased it from Sphere Bridal Gallery in Maroochydore. Sphere was the third bridal store I had visited. I always thought I would wear a more traditional A-line style dress, but one of my bridesmaids begged me to try on a silk dress. It was the final dress I tried on during my fitting and the dress I felt most comfortable in. I loved that I hadn’t seen it before and that it was modern but still timeless. I found looking for a dress quite an overwhelming experience, but it was so worthwhile to help you figure out what suits you and your body shape.”

THE SUIT “My suit was from M.J. Bale. This process was very easy as I went with the same suit I had worn at a best mate’s wedding the previous year. A couple of my other groomsmen also already owned this suit, so I made it as easy as possible for them by selecting one they already owned.”

WE’RE GLAD WE… “Decided to write our own vows. It was so special, and it really made the ceremony feel more intimate and relaxed. Many of our guests spoke about how much they loved our vows.”

STANDOUT VENDORS “To be honest, we adored all of our vendors. Stacey (makeup artist) and Grace (hair stylist) were so amazing to have around in the morning. They helped keep me calm when the weather took a turn, and it felt like I had two extra friends getting ready with us. Leah (Photographer) and Mitch (Videographer) pumped us up all day and made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. Leah even gave me her jacket during photos as it got a little chilly. They were superstars! Our band (The White Tree) really helped create such a fun vibe throughout the evening, from [the way they introduced] the bridal party to the vibe on the dance floor. We were truly grateful for the way they all made us feel on the day!”
