After laying their eyes on The Driftwood Shed in New South Wales, Elisha and Dan knew they’d found the perfect venue to create an “easy going, DIY, relaxed and beautiful” wedding with their closest friends and family.
Putting all their energy into pulling off a personal wedding on a low budget, this couple took on a variety of DIY projects. Save the dates, invitations, catering, decor and even alcohol were amongst their many handcrafted tasks.
“The two of us both wanted our wedding to be memorable, unique and beautiful. It was a very personal ceremony followed by an informal and easy going reception…”, says Elisha who walked down the aisle with Dean and their adorable 18 month old son.
Dean, owner of Squeeze and Grind, had access to many useful items through his restaurant, who also provided the catering. Thanks to Mitch Pohl‘s awesome pictures, we got to check it out and it looked delicious! Merci Bouquet didn’t do too badly on the floral side of things either – creating Elisha’s beautiful flower crown and bouquet.
