It wasn’t until they were on a trip to beautiful Paris with their besties that Kenneth proposed to Christina. “After a huge queue to climb to Eiffel Tower, I turned and saw Kenneth on his knees, a ring in his hands, my two friends recording the moment and all the people around us.”
Opting away from tradition, the Barcelona-based couple hoped to find a venue close to nature in the middle of nowhere for their big day.
“We don’t like typical restaurants so Can Valldaura was perfect for us. A restored farmhouse with the best sunset I have ever seen. We fell in love in one second,” explains Christina, who adds that there was a rural vibe with tonnes of wild flowers, live music and all of their best friends.
“We doesn’t like rules and never follow any protocol so our weeding was like a meeting with friends.” Featuring long tables, heaps of candles and a boatload of green flowers, Christina and Kenneth say they found all of their vendors on blogs and Instagram – so handy!
Captured by Raquel Benito Photography, these newlyweds say that marriage is truly a step forward in a relationship. “When you find the person to build a family, you know, and you need to make a lot of things together …. Why not have a big party?? C’mon!!! We recommend it!”
