Chloe and Tom’s wedding day was one of those heartfelt occasions that truly reflected the couple – their passions, strengths and most meaningful values.

Chloe, a jeweller based out of a small studio on the Mornington Peninsula spends her days hand-crafting contemporary designs from precious metals and gemstones, so it was only natural and most enjoyable for the bride to create a lot of the dû?cor and favours for their guests.

“We made a few greenery walls throughout the wedding… We also made all the wedding favours? they were handmade little brass key rings with every guest’s initials stamped onto them. We made all the signage for the event, which was the drink menu signs, toilet signs and entrance signs. I like to paint also, so for me making these small touches made the day personal and also I just enjoyed being creative! Being a jeweller, I also made the bridal gifts, the earrings for the girls, the personalised cufflinks for the boys, our wedding bands and some of my jewels,” says Chloe.

An English high school teacher with a natural way with words, Tom brought Chloe and almost every guest to tears with his personalised vows. “The thing that means the most to me is Tom’s vows. I think about them all the time, about how romantic they were and how they made me feel like the most loved and admired woman in the world,” reflects Chloe, adding that despite difficult to write, choosing to incorporate personalised vows really made the ceremony ‘their own’.

Set on Tom’s aunty’s personal property where they previously shared many happy family occasions, the couple had a blast with photographer Georgia Verrells. “Georgia was heaps of fun. She made us feel so comfortable and our photos are so natural and candid as a result of this. Tom and I aren’t always so photogenic or comfortable taking posed photos, but I think the way Georgia approached us and the whole day means we have such romantic natural photos. Our overwhelming happiness really is in each shot!,” says Chloe.

Chloe continues to rave about all of her chosen vendors who she mostly found here on HM! (“The directory on the website is fantastic, especially when having no idea where to start looking when approaching a particular area!” Cheers lady!)

Some of the awesome people who made the day so spectacular include The White Tree Band, local caterer Mr Hall Catering Co and One Day Bridal, where Chloe discovered her bridal gown label Chosen. Of her gown, the bride says, “My dress? wow I will love that dress forever!… I would just describe it as magic’ and that I felt like that in it.”
