A bride and groom who pick Earth, Wind and Fire’s September as their first dance song? That’s a big ol’ YES in our books!
Chantelle and Aleksandar said their vows amongst their nearest and dearest (which happened to be over 300+) at the stunning grounds of Mason Falls in Kinglake National Park. “We put most of the emphasis into the ceremony, we both love exploring and spend the majority of our spare time wandering around forests,” said the bride.
With their large European families, the pair admit finding a venue that catered to their guest list was a challenge, however once they set their sights on the Regal Ballroom, they knew they’d found the place.
When it came to finding the dress, Chantelle and her mum took a trip to Sydney to search for the ultimate gown. “I knew what dress I wanted from day 1, I had my eye on it for a while, I was only worried that it would look good on me as opposed to the girls wearing it online,” the gown in question was of course the gorgeous Inka Gown from Grace Loves Lace. Despite trying on a number of other dresses, Chantelle knew as soon as she slipped into the Inka Gown, she’d found her dream dress (and boy did she look stunning)! “I didn’t go to any other wedding dress shops, just the one, we then headed out for a celebratory dinner before we caught our flight back to Melbourne!” Easy as!
