The chemistry between Belle and Warren must have been off the charts during dates one and two because, with a little nudge from COVID lockdowns, these lovebirds made the bold decision to move in together after just their third rendezvous (yes, it’s true!). To celebrate their nups, the pair and their party escaped to private tropical oasis and objectively cool holiday abode, Casa Campana in the NSW Northern Rivers for a “weekend of love”. “We wanted guests to know how important they were to us, to feel drunk on love, and to never be bored.”

FAVE DETAILS “The ceremony and cocktail hour were out the front of the house to make the most of the sun, and then we opened the big doors to the house and ushered guests through to the pool out the back. It was a ‘wow’ moment with The White Tree band playing, with the Paperbark team cooking on an open fire with fish heads, pineapples and chicken hanging in the smoke. The photo booth was also such a hit and provided a quiet spot for us to make out! We ended up with a lot of NSFW (Not Safe For Work) photos and we love our album from In The Booth which is full of messages from guests.”
THE DRESS “My mum got married in pink, and I knew I wanted to continue this tradition. After trying on a few gowns and watching my entire Instagram feed slowly convert to wedding dress content, I was starting to feel overwhelmed and uninspired. With months to go, I went to see Andrej from House of Ezis and connected with his architectural and elegant style and deep commitment to the creative process. The resulting strapless, low-back gown, and slit to the hip, was paired with a cape with sleeves that reminded me of the giant pink rose Warren gave me on their first date. It took four fittings, and because it was designed from scratch, as the dress emerged, more changes needed to be made but Andrej did not rest until every element was as he and I envisioned. I’ll never wear a dress like this again, so I wore it all night until it was muddy, eventually kicking off my shoes and dancing barefoot. I loved every minute of being in it.”
THE SUIT “Belle actually researched suit makers for me and wrote mini-reviews of them. After speaking to Wil Valor it was an easy decision. It was a tight timeframe, and the suit was only finalised the day before the wedding which was nerve-wracking, but the team are professionals through and through. Belle sent Mark photos of her dress so that he could work with me but still make sure Belle and I complemented each other. He hit it out of the park with the blue and pink combo!”
MEMORABLE MOMENT “I am deaf and the night before at the pub I gave a speech and taught all the guests how to sign ‘I love you’. The next day, people were signing ‘I love you’ everywhere – during the ceremony, to each other, in the photo booth. It was beautiful.”
STANDOUT VENDORS “Our caterers Tito and Santi from Paperbark Experience – it doesn’t matter if it’s a wedding or any other event, you need to taste their food in your lifetime because it’s the definition of ‘made with love’. They even spontaneously harvested some wild raspberries from the venue and served them with oysters with pandanus vinaigrette! Our photographer, Tom, is a wizard. He’s been a delight every step of the way and has shared a lot of wisdom with us through the planning process as well.”
A WORD OF ADVICE “A wedding planner and on-the-day coordinator is really worth every cent. We just had to [think of something] and it would appear. Polly was always one step ahead of us, and being able to trust her meant we were able to relax and enjoy the day so much.”
