Beck and Ben are such a down to earth, active couple, we really dig how much their wedding day was a true representation of who they are as human beings.
Beck, an architect who wore a gorgeous gold Jane Hill gown, tells us “Ben proposed on our 10 year anniversary at Smiths Lake. We canoed across the lake out to the beach with our surfboards trailing behind the canoes. We then went for a surf and had a picnic lunch, after which Ben got down on one knee and proposed with a ring he had designed himself with a yellow sapphire stone he sourced from Sri Lanka.”
Both lovers of a good camping trip it was only natural they chose Paperbark Camp for both their ceremony and reception. Beck tells us “the theme was feathers as we have been collecting feathers all over the world for years and are both keen bird watchers. Whenever we see our omen birds – black cockatoo’s – we feel it means we are in the right place at the right time”. Mother Nature took care of the majority of the ‘decorating’ and Nicole Bowller rounded things out with her gorgeous floral creations.
This loved filled day with precious family and friends was photographed by one of our personal faves, Tim Coulson. You can check out more of Tim’s work here, here and here and follow his own travels and work here on Facebook.
