Amy and Matt didn’t miss a beat when it came to planning a unique and wonderfully wild wedding. A stationery designer and owner of The Wondery, Amy set the scene with a beautiful stationery suite that matched their colour scheme before handing the reigns over to their celebrant – the one and only Paul Vogue.
Held at Weddings at Tiffanys, a stunning boutique wedding venue on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast, their celebration was peppered with green and gold decorations, flowers by That Flower Shop and plenty of DIY. “We made a lot of the decorations, including spray painting mason jars, making the animal place card holders, the peg board seat finder, cutting the tartan table runners, designing and printing the place cards, menus and Mad Libs style advice cards”, says Amy who was frugal when it came to buying her Jenny Packham wedding dress from Still White too.
“I figured out preeeetty early on in my dress search that I had champagne taste on a beer budget! So I thought, why not purchase a second hand dress? I got so many lovely compliments and no-one could tell it wasn’t brand new.” Shot by Hello May fave Julian Beattie (whose work you may also have seen here) Amy and Matt ensured it was a day no one would forget (at least temporarily) with playful tattoos by Tattly.
