When a couple wants to create their own menu for their wedding, it can often be difficult to find a place that’s willing to accommodate. Lucky for Amy and Jase, they stumbled upon a boutique venue located on Victoria’s Bellarine Peninsula named Terindah Estate, where the staff were happy for these foodies to bring their own grub.
“Food has always been such an important part of our life together. It was a simple menu and each dish was based around important milestones in our relationship it was great as it really made the day about our story,” explains Amy, who admits it was essential to have event planning and styling company Two of a Kind and florist Pomp and Splendour on board so she could focus on more important things – like finding the right dress.
“Looking for a wedding dress was a little daunting at first as I had a feeling what I had in mind was going to be hard to find.” Using some Pinspiration, Amy worked closely with the team at One Day Bridal to customise her unique gown.
Even with so many great vendors on their team, Amy and Jase were especially grateful for their photographer Pierre Curry. “The style of photography was really important to us as we wanted to capture the day as naturally as possible… Pierre was so much more than the photographer on the day. It really felt like he was apart of the family, and really made the day extremely memorable for us.”
