Alana and Ian had a very specific vision of what they wanted for their wedding day: bright and happy with beautiful flowers, great music, and amazing eats. Lucky for them, they stumbled upon Brisbane’s Vielle Branche, a super stunning warehouse venue featuring heaps of French antiques and vintage furniture.
“We visited quite a few venues but as soon as we visited Vieille Branche we fell in love with the venue’s incredible beauty and lovely creative owners,” explains Alana, who found her dream gown at The Babushka Ballerina. She tells us, as soon as she tried on the Cleo from Rue De Seine gown she knew it was the one.
With makeup by Cocoa & Cream and hair by Saffron Hair Lounge, the bride looked totally gorgeous, and no one suspected what she and Ian had in store… “We surprised our guests by dancing down the aisle to an old Beatles rock/pop song Got To Get You Into My Life.’ There are a lot of photographs of our guests with mouths wide open in response to this.”
Thanks to photographer Deb Boots, the couple will be able to look back on those jaw-dropping photos for years to come, while they leave us with this piece of advice: “Keep it simple. Find a beautiful space and fill it with the things that you love. And remember that it really will be the most amazing day of your life regardless of any little hiccups so enjoy every moment.”
