Ahh the seating chart! As if life wasn’t stressful enough trying to figure just how many places your creepy uncle needed to be sat away from the bridesmaids you then have to sit down and ponder how you are going to coordinate the display of 100 odd guests names and their corresponding table numbers!
Some couples choose the humble A4 piece of paper coupled with the under-appreciated thumb tack while others go all out and get a little creative. If you are stuck somewhere in the middle, not knowing which way to turn, rest easy in the knowledge that there is plenty of inspiration to be found right here in this very post.
The creative possibilities might be endless but one of our favourites has to be Ruthie and Ian’s new take on target practise for their Nappa Valley nuptials. Beautifully captured by Hello May favourite Jose Villa we love the bright colours and can only imagine the fun guests would have finding their name on the heart shaped perspex frame. Here at Hello May we are no stranger to a bottle of red either, so any seating chart idea that requires the use of a couple of dozen corks is ok by us!
If you are finding the whole thing a little daunting or perhaps you just need a fellow creative soul to bounce ideas off and get things done then we recommend you find yourself a event coordinator or wedding stylist to give you a helping hand. We recommend The Wedding Weaver or Events by Heidi and Kate for New South Wales based brides, Goose & Jones for those of you who reside south of the boarder and Pilgrim Styling for you west coast locals. Based in sunny Queensland? Drop our friends at Love Struck Weddings and Events a line.
