Mon Cherie Weddings was the creative mastermind behind this elevated concept, infused with subtle Euro flavour. Going BTS, this team explains how the innate beauty of the space – Queensland’s Sol Gardens –served as a key muse.

“To create imagery that feels both fresh and nostalgic,” that was the goal for Focus First Studios on this gorg Goldie day. Safe to say, mission accomplished! Partners in business (and in life), Matt and Jess of Focus First Studios are all about immortalising those authentic, raw, and candid wedding moments through photos and film. The work of these self-described “sappy romantics” walks a beautifully balanced line between relaxed and refined, with this album being no exception. “We were inspired by the venue’s lush greenery and calming atmosphere,” they shared. “We aimed to craft a timeless, effortlessly chic vibe, blending natural textures, green tones, and whimsical details.”
With Mon Cherie Weddings at the creative helm, it’s no wonder this set-up has knocked our (and likely your) socks off. Offering planning, styling or coordination, ensuring your day looks friggin’ amazing and feels uniquely ‘you’ is what they do (all while making the process stress-free. Phew!) Mon Cherie founder Maddison told us that in bringing this vision to life, she was inspired to “play on the natural features of the venue so it could tie in with the gardens and surrounding greenery.”
Theresa’s impressive skills in soft glam were a flawless fit for this modern romantic vibe. Based on the Gold Coast (but working weddings everywhere), Theresa has been making magic in hair and makeup for the past decade. Known for natural looks with a “luxury touch”, her focus is always on enhancing and [showcasing] “how beautiful the bride already is.” An ethos we can all get behind!
Crystal And The Wild has a real knack for using the power of flowers to create memories and special moments – their handiwork below speaks for itself! Spreading the local love, they opt for Aussie-sourced blooms where possible and also offer styling advice if you need a little more support. Here, combining an “elegant and classic” colour palette with fresh fruits and flora, Crystal And The Wild wanted to complement the “already lush” Sol Garden space. “With this shoot,” founder and creative Crystal shared, “I really wanted the vision to be old money glamour. Once we saw the dress, the vision brought itself to life so perfectly.”
Seven acres of picturesque countryside gorgeousness, a laid-back aura in the air, plus a plethora of customisable package options—there’s a lot to love about Sol Gardens. Nestled in the Gold Coast’s Currumbin Valley is where you’ll find this gem, featuring flowing spring waters, lush greenery, and stunning celebration spaces. The team told us that for this shoot they “provided the space as a beautiful white canvas, featuring white cloths and a neutral palette designed to let the stylist’s vision shine,” adding that their focus is always on “creating unforgettable experiences, offering couples the flexibility to style their day their way.” That’s what we like to hear!
Rounding out this dream team is Pearl Bridal, who have, over the years, brought home a swag of awards as testament to their epic taste and personalised service. Each gown in their heavenly private studio has been carefully selected for its elegance and quality. “For this shoot,” the Gold Coast locals explained, “we wanted to capture the essence of romantic, ethereal elegance. Inspired by timeless bridal fashion and dreamy florals, we focused on a minimalist style gown with a fitted silhouette and romantic chantilly lace details.”
