It is with great pleasure that we introduce you to The Mrs Box. As its name suggests, it is indeed a box – but not just any box. No siree. These delightful, candy coloured ring boxes are made from limited edition pre-war vintage French velvet, making each one pretty darn rare.
To make them truly one-of-a-kind, each box can also be customised with you, your bridesmaid’s or your lover’s initials using gold foil and a vintage hot stamp press machine. Pretty cool if you ask us. Plus if you’ve never had a family heirloom well, now you do.
But where did this idea begin? “It really honestly started with the love of colour. And the belief that things shouldn’t remain as they’ve always beenjust because”, says Summer Watkins, blogger, stylist and the brains behind The Mrs Box.
“We’re not sure when ring boxes became so boringthey weren’t always that way, but somewhere down the line these tiny little harbingers of joy were tossed to the wayside and doomed to spend an eternity feeling overweight and dressed in shabby colors.
