If you’ve clicked on this post, it means you’re either after a wedding gown, or let’s be honest, maybe you’re just after a little eye candy, because no one does lookbooks quite like Rue De Seine, right? They are always coming up with the goods- from the gowns, to the accessories and even the hair and makeup. Speaking of, add these to your beauty references stat, guys, especially the cool-girl bun for your bridesmaids.
If you’re a regular reader, you will have seen the crazy-awesome campaign shots we blogged last week, but lookbooks always give you the most angles, so you can see all the intricate details. If you’re not, start following us on Facebook and Instagram, folks. We alert you our new blog posts (every single day) and you’ll find our print issues here, so get reading!
Now back to the collection,Wild Heart. It’s 18 strong, and gives us a refreshing twist on traditional white, ivory and nude bridal gowns (although there is plenty of that too, of course). There’s touches of gold, a whole lotta blue, and patterns like we’ve never seen before. There’s also a new take on wedding day jewellery that will give you out of the box ideas- the main takeaway? Chunky is back- and that goes for both the bling and the shoes.
You’ll also find different colour options in a few of the gowns (case in point- the Aegean above), multiple slip ideas (check out the Sia below, which can change up your final look entirely) and also as a look all on their own (see the slip dress with veil below), while being a great option for a second outfit/ reception dress. Bonus.
For those who need the nitty gritty; Rue De Seine’s sizes range from 6 to 16, and this collection is priced from approximately $3975 to $5250. If you can’t wait to try them on, you will not only find them in their Flagship Store in Auckland on September 1st and 2nd, but for all you Aussie brides; The Bridal Atelier in Melbourne (Trunk Show: September 14-15) and Sydney (Trunk Show: September 21-22). If you’re up in Queensland, check out Sphere Collective (Trunk Show: September 7-9) and over in Perth, head into Through The White Door (Trunk Show: October 5-6).
