Rue de Seine clearly doesn’t belong in a box (or at least only one). Often described as romantic and whimsical, owner Michele recently teamed up with L.A based photographer Larsen Sotelo to shine light on just how versatile her designs really are.
A huge departure from the soft, earthy vibes of earlier campaigns (In the City of Love, for example) this shoot is all kinds of cool. Showcasing her gorgeous Chloe, Abbey, Willow gowns and Hannah Cape (to name only a few) and a whole heap of gypsy inspired jewellery and delicate floral arrangements, it’s sexy, feminine and nowhere near Auckland.
Set amongst America’s dusty roads and bubblegum coloured signs, this collection of beautifully styled images is all about contrast – blending feminine designs with accessories and hair and makeup that’s a little less ladylike. Call us hopeless romantics but we think it’s a match made in heaven.
