Gooooooood morning, dear readers. Friyay has come around again and here we are bringing you another seasonal drop from the suiting gods/ menswear giants that are M.J. Bale. “Spurred by the purity of the natural world and the great Australian pre-Impressionist paintings of artists John Glover and Eugene von Guérard, M.J. Bale’s Winter 21 collection is Inspired by Nature.” Basically, if you (or your groom) wants to look sharp AF on your wedding day, this is the brand for you. Just take one million of our grooms’ words for it – you’ll find an abundance of them here – on M.J. Bale’s Directory listing with us, along with rave reviews
Some quick facts about the classy self-described “gentlemen’s clothiers,” friends. They are Australian-owned and environmentally aware (to say the least!), predominantly using Merino Wool from their conservationist partner farm in Tasmania, along with super sustainable Italian textile partners to create their collections. They plan to be 100% carbon neutral by December 2021 – an amazing goal and ever important in this beautiful world of ours.
Their latest offering “creates a new capsule of event outfits, including a soft velvet blazer in organic cotton, an emerald-green corduroy jacket and double-breasted wool-silk blazers.” Heaven. “For classical tailoring, an elegant range of wool flannel suits in navy and charcoal, as well as for the first time ever pin-stripe woollen blazers crafted from stretch jersey.” There’s also their best-selling suit (the Saunders) that is getting an update with stretch wool for those looking for a more flexible, crease-resistant vibe.
