Guys. You are one lucky set of humans. Why? Because today we are exclusively launching Alca Line Bride’s fourth (and in our humble opinion, dare we say, best) collection, Looking Glass 2021. As you can see it’s a seriously chic collection, however also dabbles in cute (thanks to the beaded daisy detail), courageous (say hi to cutouts and crops) and put simply, damn cool (there’s a gown inspired by a disco ball, friends). Way to bring the party eh?
You’ll also find the most gorgeous shade of pink throughout and mosaic inspired tiling to create a one of a kind texture not often seen in bridal. Don’t miss the hearts and stop what you’re doing if you’re keen on making an epic statement, because there’s a black, sheer number that should be pushed to the top of your list of try on’s, stat.
Speaking of, if you want to take a look at this glorious nine-strong collection in real life, not only can you find it in the designer’s Sydney studio, but it will be travelling to a few boutiques between now and mid- October in a series of trunk shows, the first, at one of our go-to’s in Brisbane – Bloom – from Sept 23 to Oct 5. For all the WA brides, they will be then heading to NOA Bridal Studio from Oct 9 – Oct 18. This Australian-owned and made bridal brand ranges from size 6 – 16 and priced between $2600 – $8800.
In an exclusive chat with the designer, Amy, she reveals Looking Glass poses the question, “who is the bride you want to see looking back at you on your big day? You want your reflection to represent your own sense of style, something you can look back on and admire for years to come because you interpreted your own version of ‘bride’.” We couldn’t agree more.
But don’t just take our word for it. You’ll find a stunning gown and rave review from a real bride here and you’ll see Alca Line Bride’s last two collections here and here proving this designer has some serious cred! Ok, enough from us. Scroll down for every dress. The biggest challenge is only choosing one!
