Sydney jewellery designers Grew & Co are considered family here at Hello May. We’ve been HUGE fans of their work since the day we launched (almost 10 years ago now) and with each rave review that comes in from the many couples who’ve entrusted their engagement rings and wedding bands to them over the years, we only continue to appreciate their talents more and more.
Along with everything available at their stunning Sydney showroom (which feels more like a swish art gallery) Grew & Co have recently released eight new designs (all of which you can shop online, except the Xander – coming to their e-boutique in two weeks) which owners (and husband and wife duo) Gabby and Simon, have been kind enough to break down for us below. Designed and made in Australia, these are true heirloom pieces that will be cherished and passed down for generations to come.

Banks Ceylon 3.2
A beautifully paired duo stone design, featuring a 3.2ct emerald cut Ceylon sapphire and a 0.75ct pear cut white diamond. Set in 18ct Yellow Gold on a Grew & Co signature band. “Our Banks design is Inspired by balance and the harmony of shape. The perfect pairing of sapphire and diamond accentuates visual similarities, finding symmetry in an unexpected duo.”
Aaren 3.01 Champagne
Simplicity in all its glory, the Aaren features a stunning 3.01ct emerald cut champagne diamond. Set in 18ct rose gold on a Grew & Co signature band. “Set across the finger, our Aaren design is minimal but striking. The unconventional orientation is a subtle nod to our love of contemporary composition and modern design.”
Ciel Champagne 2.1
This unique bling features a 2.10ct oval cut champagne diamond, with white diamond shoulders. Set in 18ct rose gold on a Grew & Co signature band. “Our Ceil design celebrates the intricacies found in nature. The detailed arrangement features a selection of diamond cuts, nestled together to form a delicate cluster on either side of a centre stone.”
Orla Grey 2.8
The chic Orla features a 2.8ct oval cut grey spinel with a pair of kite cut diamond shoulders. Set in 18ct yellow gold on a Grew & Co signature band. “Our Orla design is centred around the distinctive geometry of the kite cut diamond. Meticulously angled in a three-stone design, the kite cut diamond provides a focal point for the perfect centre stone.”
Gigi Necklace
Looking to pair your ring with the perfect necklace? Say hi to Gigi. This pendant features a Rose Cut Diamond and a cluster of Brilliant Cut Diamonds, delicately fixed on a 9ct white gold curb link chain. “We love pairing something old with something new. This petite cluster is designed for effortless everyday wear.”
XANDER
For the stylish but understated, Xander features a 0.91ct salt & pepper brilliant cut diamond, set in 18ct white gold on a Grew & Co signature band. “Our Xander design is a four claw solitaire, designed as the perfect minimal setting for a brilliant-cut stone.”
Quinn Straight & Half Moon
The Quinn Straight wedding band is the perfect combination ring, featuring mixed shape baguette, pear, marquise and round, brilliant-cut diamonds. Crafted on a Grew & Co signature band which can be made to order in a variety of metal choices. “On the hand, it catches the light and upon closer inspection, each stone is different from the next.” Meanwhile, the Half Moon wedding band is a new addition to Grew & Co’s straight wedding band collection. A row of five Half Moon White Diamonds, set in 18 carat Rose Gold is sure to sit pretty on any hand. “We love the soft curve of this diamond cut and when set side by side, it creates a feminine scalloped pattern across the finger.”
Elke
This incredibly beautiful ring features white diamond baguette, brilliant and pear cuts, with a total diamond weight of 1.17ct. Set in 18ct yellow gold on a Grew & Co signature band. “Our Elke design is inspired by our love of art deco architecture. We are drawn to the elongation and repetition that can be found in buildings from this era; using white diamond baguette cuts, brilliant cuts and a pear cut, to mirror the shapes of this time.”
