Whimsical wedding gowns is what Beska Couture does best and her latest made to measure collection ‘La’Vie en Rose’ is no exception. Think flattering, siren-type gowns with sexy draping and of course, fine beading and delicate crystals and any other kind of embellishment you can think of! Made from the finest silks and laces from around the world, these vintage-inspired gowns are, in a word, all kinds of amazing. Ok, Ok! that’s four words… but we love them so much we couldn’t help ourselves!
Owner and designer Bec recently had her new range photographed by the talented Thomas Stewart at the breathtaking reception venue Bendooley Estate. Our pal’s Makeup by Megan and Elizabeth Bower went along for the ride, as did Amity Blooms as did Cinematographer Tom Coburn who’s behind the scene’s video you can check out below.
Bec’s creations creations are always simple yet stunning and suitable for the Hello May bride – the kind who want to look amazing with out sacrificing comfort. Because what’s the point of having a wedding if you can’t dance, right?
Bec tells us “I wanted to experiment a little more with sparkle, beading and lacework for this range but still keeping the designs beautifully simplistic. I love working with colour to the slightest tone, sugary pastels ranging from silky whites to quartz pink and all ivories to creams in between. Our gowns are made exactly for the individual bride, which makes customising a gown to a brides specific tastes and needs easy”
Based in the beautiful Southern Highlands, we suggest getting your bridesmaids together and taking a short road-trip to Bowral ASAP. Pack snacks. We promise it will be worthwhile!
