It’s fun to break the rules – to think outside the square and to challenge the status quo. With this idea in mind photographer Anna Turner, hair and makeup artist Liv Lundelius, stylist Rachel Yabsley and florist Esther of The Sisters recently joined forces to create an unconventional bridesmaid shoot.
Short, patterned dresses (the kind you might already own) and loose, unsprayed hair (worn the way you normally would) teamed with an abundance of beautiful blooms created an aesthetic a world away from traditional bridesmaid looks.
“Bridesmaids dresses are becoming like most things in the industry a lot more relaxed and a lot more personal to the couple. I think everyone in the industry has noticed how weddings are becoming more and more a reflection of the couple and their circle of loved ones”, says Anna.
