We’re not sure what we adore more, the newest collection by Aussie native, Anna Campbell, or the story behind the ethereal gowns.
Anna explains that the collection came to fruition through her own experience at her wedding earlier this year, those electric emotions of excitement and anticipation. £The intensity of the emotion I felt walking down the aisle was overwhelming. I was inspired to create a collection that truly captures the essence of that moment: romantic and beautiful, fleeting but also timeless.”
It’s as though she’s bottled up fragments of these wedding day feels and sewn them into lavish embellishments on tailored bodices and flowing fabrics. We can’t help but stare glassy eyed at these strikingly intricate pieces, encrusted with ivory, silver and pearl toned beading that seem to glow in the light.
In typical Anna style, Ceremony features elegant and classic silhouettes with a dusting of modern bohemian. The addition of capped and longer sleeves gives brides the option for a little more coverage, whilst the low v-shaped back in many of the pieces offers a timelessness to the range. As with all Anna Campbell collections, dresses are designed and hand-finished in Melbourne, created from luxurious silk fabrics and finished with beautiful hand beading designed by Anna and exclusive to the label.
Captured amongst the towering canyons of California’s Red Rock Canyon State Park, photographer Emily Magers captured the bohemian, carefree nature of this incredible collection.
In addition to these stunning gowns Anna has also released an accessories collection for Ceremony, featuring classic studs to pearl drops to done on your special day (or every day, because why not!)
