Yien and Marc are proof that opposites do indeed attract. One is silent, one is loud, one is tall, one is short and together they make the perfect match. To celebrate their engagement, which happened on a holiday in Paris, they decided to participate in an engagement shoot in Sydney.
“We’ve never had a photo shoot together before and with a photographer like Scott and a playground like Sydney, who wouldn’t want to?” says Yien. “We were really excited to do the shoot because there’s so much in that setting that speaks to us – Sydney’s contrasting urban sprawl and natural beauty, lush tropical plants amongst cold concrete, the feminine against the masculine.”
“We were pretty nervous before the photos but we had an amazing dream team get us through the day and we’re feeling so grateful that they’ll be with us on the wedding day too. That dream team was made up of the following industry legends… Liv Lundelius on make up, Esther and Naomi (of The Sisters fame) created the most wonderful flower crown and Scott from The Simple Things Studio “captured the moments with a great eye”, says Marc who adds, “We loved how the photos turned out. Scott is such a talented photographer, with a great sense of humour and as an added bonus – he’s a genuinely great guy.”
