Vic and Dave had plenty of reasons to be happy. They’d not only found true love, but they’s nabbed legendary photographer Scott Surplice too. When asked about her favourite moment, Vic tells us. “There were so many! But a definite stand out was when the whole bridal party took off for our photo shoot with Scott (Surplice) man, talk about a laugh!!”
Perhaps they were still giggling about Dave wetting his pants. “Dave’s hip flask cracked in his pocket while he was signing the register therefore leaving an unfortunate looking brown Fernet Branca stain on his back pocket and the white chair he was sitting on!” says Vic who looked stunning in her timeless Johanna Johnson gown, One Day Bridal and Samantha Wills accessories.
Held at Dave’s parent’s place in Northern New South Wales, almost everything was DIY – the love heart aisle decorations, the bar and almost all the food. There were however, a very special vendors on board worthy of a mention including Flowers On First, From The Owl and North Coast Party Hire. “We didn’t realise how much planning was involved with a garden wedding! But it was all totally worth it.”
